Downtime
Some swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, and firmness in the treated area can be expected after treatment. These effects usually settle over several days, although swelling may last a little longer in some cases. Clients are advised to avoid strenuous exercise, heat treatments, and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours.
